There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
These are great tips! Although I didn't mind that people posted photos from my wedding. The professional photos take a while so it was nice to have photos right away!

As someone who doesn't go to many weddings, a couple of these are very eye opening. The social media one is FANTASTIC. I think that's such an easy trap to fall into, but it's her day, so she should be able to filter it her way.
Awesome tips. I need to read up on your blog more to learn how to not embarrass myself in social situations.

These are great rules to go by! And please forgive your bf… I also did not know this and used to drag around heavy presents a week or two before the wedding!
I didn't know it was a faux pas to post photos of the bride on social networking sites before the professional ones went up – but that makes total sense! On my wedding day tons of people were putting pics on Facebook, and I didn't mind, but it would have been nice to have the 'nice' ones go up first 😀
I am actually attending two weddings this summer so this post has been perfectly timed! Thank you for sharing your tips, they seem spot-on. You have such a lovely blog!

So many amazing tips, I agree with so many of them! Not RSVPing has to be one of the most rude things you could do after being invited to such an important day. Dressing nicely is one of my biggest pet peeves at weddings, I really don't understand how people can show up in regular clothing when the wedding clearly has a semi formal dress code. Finally, I love your point about posting photos on social media; we asked our guests prior to our wedding not to share photos from our wedding on social media. My husband isn't the biggest facebook user and there was something about people I didn't know seeing photos of my wedding, which is a really special and private day for me and our friends and family.

My sister is getting married later this year and I know she HATES half my relatives for bringing a +1 that we don't even know. Like, really, is it that hard for you to leave your boyfriend/girlfriend home? the couple has a tight budget, and they shouldn't have to pay another 50 bucks per plate to feed people they don't know/ didn't invite.
Great tips!
xoxo Sarah Beth
