My favorite Lululemon leggings would have to be this align pant! I wear them all the time to work out in, as well as in my everyday life!  They are their ‘nulu’ fabric, so it pretty much provides you with that amazing ‘naked’ feeling in the form of leggings, making it so easy {and comfortable} to do whatever fall activity you have planned!

This criss cross tank is also one of my most favorite workout tanks that I have ever owned! I love it so much that I bought it in every color, PLUS two in the heathered white.  I can’t help it, but they’re just that good! I always either wear the free to be wild bra with this specific tank OR the energy bra.

Here’s this week’s workout routine!

Monday: Legs {Quads, Hamstrings, Glutes, Calves} + HIIT

  • Single Leg Squats: 8 reps each leg, 4 sets
  • Single Leg Deadlifts: 8 reps each leg, 4 sets
  • Squat Pulses: 15 reps, 4 sets

*after each set, sprint on the treadmill for 0.25 mile*

  • Narrow Squats: 12 reps, 4 sets
  • Single Leg Extensions: 8 reps each leg, 4 sets
  • Donkey Kicks: 12 reps each leg, 4 sets

*after each set, sprint on the stairmaster for 2 full minutes*

  • Weighted Wall Sits: 1 minute, 4 sets
  • Burpees: 15 reps, 4 sets
  • Jump Lunges: 30 reps total, 4 sets

*after each set, sprint on elliptical for 2 full minutes*

Tuesday: Shoulders & Biceps + HIIT

*Superset these!*

  • Dumbbell Shrugs: 8 reps, 3 sets
  • Car Drivers: 30 reps, 3 sets
  • Alternating Front Raise: 8 reps each arm, 3 sets 
  • Upright Row: 8 reps, 3 sets
  • Lateral Raises: 8 reps, 3 sets
  • Seated Shoulder Press: 8 reps, 3 sets
  • Incline Shoulder Press: 8 reps, 5 sets
  • Static Hold Bicep Curls: 12 reps, 5 sets
  • Cable Curls: 12 reps, 5 sets

Wednesday: Take a Full Body Class like TRX, typically focuses on core & glutes

Thursday: Chest & Back + Low Intensity Cardio

*Superset these!*

  • Pull-Ups {assisted or unassisted}: 10 reps, 3 sets
  • Push-Ups: 15 reps, 3 sets
  • Single Arm Lat Pull Down: 8 reps each arm, 3 sets
  • Chest Press: 8 reps, 3 sets
  • Bent Over Barbell Row: 8 reps, 3 sets
  • Svend Press: 10 reps, 3 sets

Friday: Legs {Mostly Glutes} & Abs + HIIT ….OR optional rest day

*lift heavy*

  • Bulgarian Split Lunge: 15 reps each leg, 4 sets
  • Adductor: 12 reps, 4 sets
  • Abductor: 12 reps, 4 sets

*sprint on treadmill for 0.25 mile after each set*

  • Single Leg Kettlebell Deadlift: 8 reps each leg, 4 sets
  • Bench Thrusts: 10 reps, 4 sets
  • Curtsy Lunges: 15 each side, 4 sets

*sprint on stairmaster for 2 full minutes*

  • Sumo Squats: 10 reps, 4 sets
  • Cable Rope Pull Through: 12 reps each leg, 4 sets
  • Squat Pulses: 20 pulses, 4 sets

*Make sure to add your favorite ab routine at the end!*

Saturday: Triceps & Shoulders + HIIT

  • Alternating Lateral Raises: 8 reps each side, 3 sets
  • Tricep Pushdowns: 10 reps, 3 sets
  • Front Raises with Weight Plate: 10 reps, 3 sets
  • Tricep Dips: 2o reps, 3 sets
  • Bent Over Low Pulley Side Raise: 8 reps each arm, 3 sets
  • Skull-Crushers: 8 reps, 3 sets
  • Front Dumbbell Raise: 10 reps, 3 sets
  • Single Arm Tricep Pulldowns: 10 reps each arm, 3 sets

Sunday: Rest Day

    Question for you: how have the aligns held up? I have been DYING to purchase a pair but it seems like everyone has issues with pilling, seams coming apart, etc. Any insight you can provide is greatly appreciated 🙂

    • So, the reviews ALWAYS say they don’t hold up well, but I have 5 pairs, and all of mine have been fine! I love working out in them and they’ve done me well!

    • I’ll start posting some examples of HIIT workouts! I typically do mine on the stairmaster, 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off for 20 minutes. I jog up the stairs and then walk, etc.

    • I can’t remember the name of the actual color, but it looks like there’s now a teal green color instead of the one I’m wearing. Although, I think that one might be my next purchase because I’m kinda digging it ha! I really like the navy ones too (I have them and they actually look navy vs black). Hope that helps! xx

I had a question regarding average time it takes you to complete a workout – I know it probably varies but I try to hit the gym before work and thus am on more of a time restriction.     • Hi Julia! I usually work out for about an hour and 15 minutes! You can always lower the sets at first if you’re new to lifting — that should help with timing, as well as build up your endurance. xx

    • Hi Natalie! So glad you found me — so, welcome! You’re going to LOVE the align pant. Seriously, they’re amazing. My instagram handle is @a_southerndrawl. I typically feature my activewear and athleisure on there. For videos, you can visit ‘The Daily Fix’ in my Nav Bar where I include photos and videos of exercises. As for the recipe for the shrimp cucumber avocado salad, I honestly estimate it I put about 1/2 cucumber, 1/2 avocado, 3-6 oz of shrimp {depending on how much protein I’m at for the day}, diced cherry tomatoes, fresh minced cilantro, garlic powder, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and olive oil!

    • I do low intensity for about an hour — it’s the worst. THE ONE THING I DREAD IN THE WORLD IS LOW INTENSITY CARDIO! haha. I get so dang bored. Also, I try not to drink it EVERY time, because I don’t want to get dependent on it, but lately, I’ve been drinking it almost everyday because #desperate.

    Hey! What size are you in the fast as light tank? I love it. Some say to size down in that. I’m an 8 in any tank that has a bra but a 6 in anything else. I’m a 34 D.
